CABOT Financial (Europe), based at Kings Hill, West Malling, has appointed George Wilkinson as non-executive director.

His role will be to assist with corporate governance and advise on control processes for Cabot.

George has worked in the credit industry for more than 30 years in key strategic positions where he pioneered systems and credit scoring techniques used to enhance the speed and quality of credit decisions.

He is a highly regarded member of the industry and was chairman of the Consumer Credit Association for three years, having been on its board for over 10 years, as well as currently fulfilling the role of deputy chairman of Eurofinas.
