MORE than 90 new full and part-time jobs will be created by fashion retailer TK Maxx when it opens its doors at the Westwood Cross shopping complex near Margate, on Thursday, June 9.

Anne Tyrer, spokeswoman for TK Maxx, said: "The new Thanet store is part of our fast-paced opening programme for 2005.

"We will be bringing our unique 'off-price' concept to more people's doorsteps throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland."

She added: "The TK Maxx concept is simple. Give people what they want - designer labels across fashion, homeware and gifts at up to 60 per cent less than recommended retail prices."

The new store will offer around 27,000ft of space with 50,000 items across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, homeware and gifts, plus weekly deliveries of a further 10,000 new pieces.
