DiY websites backed by Business Link

SOFTWARE devised by Gravesend company Ekos Consulting is being promoted by Business Link Kent as a means to develop do-it-yourself business websites.

A Business Link Kent spokesman said: "We are now able to offer local businesses the opportunity to get a fantastic website - at a fraction of the cost and effort required using conventional approaches."

The £100 website would have up to six pages and could be altered as the business changes, all in the basic cost. The registration fee includes regular promotion of the website to major search engines.

Business Link Kent will reimburse the £100 registration fee for the first 20 companies with less than ten employees who set up a web page and complete a simple feedback questionnaire. The only additional payment is an annual £50 (plus VAT) fee for maintenance, hosting and search engine promotion.
