BUZZLINES has invested more than £1million in new coaches to cope with the increasing demand for UK and mainland Europe travel this summer.

The new vehicles, painted in Buzzlines’ blue livery, were out on the road within hours of delivery to the depot at Lympne Industrial Park, near Hythe.

The company will be investing in further new vehicles in the autumn.

The additions to the fleet are two Irizar PB 12.9-metre coaches, with just 49 seats for added passenger comfort, and two Setra S415HD 49-seat standard length coaches.

Nigel Busbridge, who launched Buzzlines 15 years ago with his wife, Kathryn, said: "It is important to us to give all our customers the safest and most comfortable vehicles on the market with the most environmentally-friendly technology available.

"Our bookings are increasing all the time as more people are choosing to travel by coach.

"They are discovering the high levels of comfort now available aboard modern vehicles, plus the many advantages of not having to struggle with traffic problems and the difficulties associated with parking."
