A number of pig carcasses can now be seen on the side of the road as recovery crews work to right the truck, which is blocking the Stone Street turn-off.

Recovery of the lorry, from Belgium, is expected to continue into the afternoon.

Stop 24 is also closed, as cars cannot access it due to the road closure.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are at the scene where the slip road is currently closed while work is ongoing to clear the carriageway and recover the vehicle.
