Evacuation after chemical incident

FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a chemical incident in a Kent town.

Crews from Ashford and Hythe were called to a cleaning company in Range Road, Hythe, just before 7.40am this morning.

Firefighters wore chemical protection suits to deal with the incident and three people had to be given oxygen at the scene.

It is believed residents have been evacuated from the area.
