Woodlands close in on league and cup double

Gravesend League Division 1 title-chasers Woodlands Athletic advanced to meet The Old Prince of Orange in the final of the Mallinson Hospital Cup.

They qualified after beating Premier Division Lullingstone Castle 8-0.

Woodlands never looked back after racing into a 5-0 lead. Goalscorers were Darren Gowler (2), Scott Vilday (2)plus one from Neil Marshall.

The Old Prince of Orange emerged 2-1 victors from a cracking game with Craggs Farm.

Simon West and Billy Osborne scored for The Price.

The final will be played on Saturday, April 4 at the Fleet Leisure Sports Ground, kick-off 4.30pm.
