Steady boys, says Fleet boss

GRAVESEND and Northfleet's Andy Ford has warned his players not to get carried away despite their excellent start to their Conference campaign.

After a slow start, Fleet have won their last two matches including a 3-2 win over high-flying Woking and sit comfortably in the top half of the table.

But Ford said: "Forest Green might be bottom of the pile but they've appointed a new manager (Colin Addison) so all their players will want to impress him."

Liam Hatch should be back in contention for the trip to Forest Green. He picked up a leg injury against Southport and originally looked set to be out for up to six weeks.

But he has responded well to treatment and would have played in Fleet's 4-2 defeat against Northwood but was suspended.

Francis Duku is also on the mend. The burly central defender broke his leg in pre-season but had the plaster taken off and the pins removed from his ankle earlier this week.
