Salisbury v Ebbsfleet Utd

EBBSFLEET United travel to Blue Square Premier newcomers Salisbury tonight with mounting injury problems.

Skipper Paul McCarthy is a doubt after missing Saturday's clash with Northwich Victoria with flu.

Mark Ricketts hobbled out of that game with a knock, while Gary MacDonald faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles tendon.

Lance Cronin (finger) is also unavailable, as is centre back James Smith, who was sent off in the 2-1 win over Vics.

Salisbury, promoted after finishing second in Conference South last season, held Droylsden to a goalless draw on Saturday. Fleet boss Liam Daish said: "Salisbury will want to hit the ground running in their first home game in their new league, so it will be tough.

"We will need to go down there and show a lot of resilience."
