Injuries increase Daish's selection headaches

JIMMY JACKSON: may be in tonight's line-up
JIMMY JACKSON: may be in tonight's line-up

Gravesend & Northfleet v Grays

GRAVESEND'S chances of avenging their 6-1 early season humiliation by Grays tonight at Stonebridge Road have been hit by worsening injury problems which have severely restricted manager Liam Daish's selection options.

Striker Mark Rawle and midfielder Jay Saunders, who were injured in Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Aldershot, are almost certain to miss this evening's match.

They join skipper Paul McCarthy, top-scorer Charlie MacDonald, Jimmy Jackson and Andy Drury in the treatment room.

"Maybe Jimmy Jackson and Andy Drury might be available tonight, I don't know," said Daish. "What I do know is that I'll be looking for a reaction to Saturday's defeat."
