TWO early second half goals meant Gravesend finished the season with a home defeat against Nigel Clough's Burton Albion on Saturday.

The second period was just three minutes old when Chris Hall got on the end of a long ball and calmy slid the ball home under the advancing James Pullen.

Andrew Ducros made the points safe five minutes later when he lashed a shot in from the edge of the penalty area.

Jay Saunders had Fleet's best chance of the match, but his close range header produced a stunning save from Daniel Crane in the visitors' goal.
