Ebbsfleet United left-back Aiden Palmer extends his loan spell at Chelmsford City for another two months

Aiden Palmer is set to spend another two months on loan at Chelmsford City.

The Ebbsfleet left-back is on his way back to full fitness after missing a significant chunk of last season with a knee injury.

Palmer arrived at Fleet from Chelmsford in 2013 and he initially rejoined the Clarets on loan on August 14.

When his four-week spell at Melbourne Park expires, the 28-year-old will extend his loan deal until the middle of November.

Joe Howe has been ever-present for Ebbsfleet at left-back so far this season and Palmer is one of three senior Fleet players out on loan. Alex Osborn is at Hayes & Yeading and Matt Johnson is playing for Bishop's Stortford.
