DAISH: "The budget means I need to get it right with every player"

GRAVESEND manager Liam Daish has told the club’s supporters that he is in no rush to complete his work in the transfer market.

The Fleet boss is rebuilding his squad as the club complete the ambitious move from part-time to full-time status.

Daish, who envisages making regular additions to his squad throughout pre-season, said: "Things are shaping up well so far. It would have been easy to get players in quickly but I’ve taken my time and will continue to do so.

"The budget I’ve got means that I need to get it right with every player because every pound matters.

"There’s still a good two months until the season gets under way and sometimes you can pick up a bargain at the end of pre-season."
