GRAVESEND & Northfleet registered a 14th win of the season the Nationwide Conference with Monday's 2-0 home win over Farnborough.

Manager Andy Ford's ambition to see the club finish as the best placed part-time club in the competition was boosted by goals by from midfielder Andy Drury after 38 minutes and striker Roy Essandoh in the 78th. In between, Farnborough had defender Donovan sent off in the 64th minute.

Ford afterwards confirmed that the club had clinched the signing of midfielder Lee Protheroe from Ryman League, Premier Division, champions Canvey Island. Protheroe impressed during a period on loan with the Fleet earlier in the season.
