DAISH: says Grays will be determined to make a winning start at home

GRAVESEND & Northfleet visit big-spending Grays tonight with manager Liam Daish insisting that his players must take Saturday's opening day 2-0 defeat by Exeter on the chin and get on with it.

"We didn't play particularly badly against against Exeter but that's behind us and we must take it on the chin," he said. "We have to concentrate on Grays who will be determined to make a winning start at home following their promotion last season."

The Fleet have confirmed that striker Manny Omoyinmi has agreed a new contract and have offered a deal to former Charlton striker Kim Grant who made his debut against Exeter.
