SUBSTITUTE Chukki Eribenne snatched a late point for 10-man Ebbsfleet United who battled back from 3-1 down at Northwich on Saturday.

The home side took the lead on 39 minutes when Michael Byrne's 25-yard drive was saved by Lance Cronin, but Luke Horrocks recovered to cross for Lee Steele to net from close range.

Things went from bad to worse for the Fleet three minutes into the second half when Gary MacDonald tangled with Aaron Burns in the area.

The referee awarded a penalty, dismissed MacDonald for the professional foul and Danny Williams netted from the spot.

James Smith reduced the deficit in the 63rd minute when he headed in a Stacy Long corner.

But the home side regained their two-goal advantage in the 69th minute when substitute Jamie Mullan squared for Steele to score his second.

Long made it 3-2 almost immediately when Long hammered past Scot Tynan after being found by George Purcell.

And the comeback was completed in the 88th minute when Eribenne converted from Luke Moore's cross.
