Woman grabbed by jaw in vicious robbery near Birling, Gravesham

A woman was grabbed by the jaw as another man rifled her handbag in a vicious robbery on a country road.

She was driving down in White Horse Road behind the van when it stopped, just before the turning for Holly Hill, forcing her to brake.

Two men got out and walked to her car before one ripped open the door and grabbed her by the jaw.

The other opened the passenger door of her Ford Fiesta and went through her handbag, taking a pink Ted Baker purse containing £80.

The men were travelling in a white, carry style van.

The robbery happened just after 7pm on Wednesday, October 15.
