It is double the number of places it could previously offer children in the local area.

Having opened in September 2020 with just 52 pupils in its first year it now has 226 pupils from nursery to year 4.

Ebbsfleet Green Primary opened an extra Year 1 class after having a full waiting list for more than a year and has moved form single-form entry to two-form entry for nursery and reception pupils.

Headteacher Kelly Garrett said, “We’re growing quickly and were delighted to be able to welcome even more children through our doors this year in response to high demand for places.

“We will continue to grow year-by-year, eventually to a fully two-form entry school, as the Ebbsfleet Green community grows around us.”

While Liam Stone, who has children in reception and Year 1, said: “It was great news to find out that the school were opening a second Year 1 class and we are so pleased to be part of the school community.”
