Maidstone Crown Court date for alleged cocaine dealer from Northfleet

A man will appear at Maidstone Crown Court next month after police officers seized more than 130 deals of cocaine and cannabis.

He was arrested in Gravesend at around 11.50am on Thursday, February 2, when a man riding a moped in Whitehill Road lost control of the vehicle after he passed a police patrol.

The moped was abandoned and the rider left the scene on foot into Sun Lane.

He was detained in a back garden where it is alleged one of the officers was assaulted.

The police officers seized 97 bags of cannabis, 36 bags of cocaine and some cash.

Connor Peters, of Bonham Way, Northfleet, was later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, assaulting an officer in the execution of his duty and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was also charged with forging a registration mark.

The 20-year-old has already appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to appear at crown court on March 3.
