Police called to fight at McDonald's in Gravesend

Police were called after a man was injured in a fight at McDonald's in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers and ambulance crews attended the restaurant in New Road, Gravesend, after being called at 1.20am on Saturday September 21 to reports of a fight.

A man was taken to hospital but later discharged himself, and inquiries are ongoing.

A statement from McDonald's confirmed that their team in New Road team "contacted the emergency services and provided support for an injured party following an incident which took place outside of the restaurant on Saturday morning."

It added: "We are assisting police with their enquiries."
