Then, not long after this initial confrontation, the same two men are reported to have driven to Milton Street at around 6.30pm where they got out of a silver Mercedes and became involved in an altercation with another man.

All three then got back into the vehicle, which was driven to a nearby location where what police describe as "a verbal dispute" took place.

No one was physically harmed in either of the incidents, which police say involved individuals known to each other. The Mercedes driven by the pair involved in both disturbances was later found in London and seized.

Anyone who witnessed either incident, or who believes they have information about either altercation, should call Kent Police on 01474 366149 quoting 46/71237/20.
