Man kicked and punched after leaving work

A 46-year old man was taken to hospital with a broken tooth and damage to his jaw after being attacked while walking home from work.

Police say he was approached in Overcliffe, Gravesend, by a group teenagers. Two members of the grup started to punch the victim in the head. When he fell to the ground they kicked him.

Police in North Kent are now appealing for information following an assault which occurred November 26 at about 7.30pm.

DC Lynda Birch, the officer investigating the attack, said: "This was a seemingly unprovoked attack that has left the victim in a great deal of pain.”
