Affray arrest after police called to disturbance in Foxwood Grove, Northfleet

A man was arrested on suspicion of affray following an incident in a street.

Police were called to Foxwood Grove in Northfleet shortly after 10pm last night following reports of a disturbance.

It was reported a group of young people were involved in an altercation.

Officers attended and, following a search of the area, arrested an 18-year-old man from Northfleet on suspicion of affray.

No injuries were reported and the arrested man was taken into custody as inquiries continued.

The arrested man was later released without charge.
