Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish has begun preparing for life in Blue Square Bet South by re-signing two players from last season and bringing in AFC Wimbledon defender Paul Lorraine.

The 26-year-old defender - who has also played for Woking in Blue Square Premier and has had spells at Fisher, Welling and Erith & Belvedere - was a target for Daish when the club were in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Promising midfielder Michael West, who has come through the club's youth ranks, and teenage striker Scott Ginty have also become the first of Liam Daish's (pictured) squad from last season to sign on for the new campaign.

Ginty scored six goals last season, including two on the final day at Tamworth, despite 29 of his 32 appearances coming from the bench.

West, 20, has appeared 35 times for the club, but like Ginty is expected to feature more at the lower level next season.
