The competition to win a fantastic safe play area for a school or nursery steps up a gear this week.

We have teamed up with Specialised Sport Products to offer this wonderful prize, which will see one school in the county win a new all-weather safe play area for its pupils.

Tokens have appeared in the Messenger over the past four weeks but in this week's edition is a bonus token, worth five points.

The school collecting the most tokens (on a pro rata basis, compared to their pupil headcount) will win.

The school coming second gets £1,500 of vouchers to spend on play area improvements. The third placed school will receive £500 in vouchers.

The six north Kent schools and playgroups in contention are: New Ash Green primary; Jumping Beans Pre-school, South Darenth; Chantry primary, Gravesend; Cobham primary; Fleetdown primary, Dartford; and Anthony Roper nursery, Eynsford.

Specialised Sport Products is one of the country's leading providers of play surfaces. Its products provide a safe, colourful, soft surface to give children the freedom to play.
