Gravesend stay to of London 1 South with victory over Aylesford Bulls

Gravesend remain top of London 1 South after a 34-0 win over Aylesford Bulls last Saturday.

Hooker Terry Papworth was absent and faces six weeks in plaster after he played the final 50 minutes of last week’s win at Chobham with three broken metatarsals.

A long line-out led to the first score with Jamie Forsythe and Ziggy Stevens combining to send Matt Clement over to make it 5-0. Scrum-half Jon Clement set up his brother for his second try, which was converted by Gary Gray.

Tony Nolan crossed for the third try to make it 17-0 at half-time.

Gray kicked a penalty to make it 20-0 after 50 minutes.

Replacement Tom Bishop ran in the fourth try and gathered his own chip through to run in the final try, which were both converted by Gray.
