Gravesend dig deep for morale-boosting win at Bracknell in National 3 South East

Gravesend battled to a hard-earned 29-26 victory at Bracknell in National 3 South East at the weekend.

A half-time scoreline of 17-16 to the the home side reflected the closeness of the encounter, but with Bracknell being awarded two yellow cards in the closing stages, Gs grabbed their chance to snatch victory with their third try of the match from Keepa Mewett.

Dave Dorton and Tom Bishop had earlier touched down for Gs, with Dorton adding four penalties and a conversion.

The win consolidated Gravesend's mid-table position in their first season of National League rugby.
