AROUND 600 mourners bid a final farewell to tragic car crash victim Sophia Edwards today.

The fashion student and keen horse rider, from Dean Lane, Meopham, died on New Year's Day after the Ford Fiesta she was travelling in hit a bus stop in Eltham, London.

In a fitting tribute to the pretty 17-year-old hundreds of her college friends and devastated family members were at Eltham Crematorium this afternoon to see her coffin arrive in a beautiful white carriage pulled by two black horses.
