Liam Daish has offered new contracts to four more Ebbsfleet United players.

Top scorer Calum Willock, fellow strikers Liam Enver-Marum, Ricky Shakes and goalkeeper Preston Edwards are the quartet concerned and the Stonebridge Road boss is hoping they all stay.

It follows skipper Paul Lorraine and player-of-the-year award winners Joe Howe and Craig Stone all agreeing deals last week.

Daish (pictured) said: "I am happy they have all signed. We are gradually putting the jigsaw together and I hope another player will commit by the weekend."

"He wouldn’t confirm whether the players had been offered increased terms saying that "is a matter between the player and the club."

Daish added: "I am working on other things. There are plenty of players out there but it is all about making sure we get the ones that suit us. Everything has got to be right."

Edwards’ recovery from ankle surgery is going well, according to Daish who is also waiting for an update on midfielder Ram Marwa who fractured a knee cap at Luton last month. He was due to see a specialist on Tuesday.
