Ebbsfleet's campaign ended on a disappointing note as they were beaten by the odd goal in five at home to Lincoln.

The result left them 14th in the Blue Square Bet Conference Premier table.

Calum Willock went close with an early effort that flashed wide, and Liam Enver-Marum forced a diving save from Lincoln keeper Joe Anyon, only for the visitors to go ahead in the 15th minute when Joe Howe put through his own net.

Enver-Marum forced Anyon into action again on 17 minutes, and seven minutes later the Fleet were level. Liam Bellamy was penalised for a challenge in the box on Paul Robson and Willock (pictured) levelled for the hosts from the spot.

However, parity only lasted three minutes as Jefferson Louis set up Peter Bore who grabbed Lincoln's second with a low shot into the corner from close range.

Worse was to follow for Fleet on 33 minutes when Jamie Taylor found the top corner from deep inside the box to make it 3-1.

Fleet keeper Tom McNeil made a smart save from Jake Sheridan before the break, and then denied Alan Power before a second goal for Fleet gave them a lifeline on 66 minutes.

Liam Bellamy was the scorer, being set up by a tricky run and cross from Ricky Shakes, but Lincoln responded almost immediately with Bore shooting wide from a good chance.

Willock then sent a header wide for Fleet with Michael West also firing wide, but Lincoln survived without too many other alarms to claim the points.
