Akita Rescue and Welfare Trust UK in Meopham gets cash from Support Adoption For Pets

An animal rescue charity has received a £4,000 grant to help pay for its kennel bills.

Akita Rescue and Welfare Trust UK, based in Meopham, is dedicated to the rescue, welfare, and protection of American and Japanese akitas in the UK.

The cash, which was donated by grant giving charity Support Adoption For Pets, will allow the rescue charity to rent five kennel spaces for five months while permanent homes are found for the occupants.
