Crucifixion re-enactment for Good Friday

Churches Together in Gravesham will portray the story of the Crucifixion in the town tomorrow, Good Friday.

A procession, complete with Roman soldiers and Jesus carrying his cross, will leave St George’s Church Hall at 10.30am, before meeting at the crossroads of New Road and High Street.

Gravesend town centre will be closed and members of the public are invited to gather along West Street, Bath Street, and New Road. Organisers expect more than 1,000 spectators.
