Firefighters tackled a blaze which broke out in a house in Northfleet during the early hours of this morning.
Crews were called to Vale Road, at about 2am and used breathing apparatus to enter the property to put out the flames.
They managed to contain the fire to one room of the home and no one was injured during the incident.
The fire is believed to have started via a fault in an electrical appliance.
The flames caused substantial damage to one room of the property.
