Talks are on-going between Ebbsfleet United and boss Liam Daish over a new contract.

Daish led the Fleet to Blue Square Bet Premier safety this season and is sure to be linked with higher-profile jobs as they become available.

Daish (pictured) said: "I have had initial talks, and everything seems fine.

"I will be taking stock of the season this week, and speaking to players. As always there will be some hard decisions to take, while others will be beyond our control."

Director Jessica McQueen added: "I have been talking to Liam for some time, we have had two very good discussions, and are making progress. We are due to talk again next week.

"All the players are out of contract. Liam will be making those decisions and a retained list will be announced in due course."
