One person said on social media it landed at The Minnis recreation park in New Ash Green.

Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance Charity has since confirmed it was its helicopter, and crews were joined by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service to treat the casualty.

A spokesman for KSS said: “A helicopter was dispatched to Longfield on November 13.

"Our crew arrived on scene at 4.27pm where they worked with South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) to help treat the patient involved in a road traffic collision.

"The patient was then transported to hospital by road.”
