Police were called at 12.20pm today to reports of a car that had flipped over onto its roof.

It was reported a blue Cherokee Jeep was in collision with a railing and flipped onto its roof in Thames Way, Northfleet - close to the Springhead Road roundabout.

Officers assisted with traffic management until the road was fully clear by 1.15pm.

No injuries were reported but the driver and passenger were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
