Bromley are in the hat for the FA Cup first round draw after beating a lacklustre Ebbsfleet side 3-0 at Hayes Lane on Saturday.

The writing was on the wall for the Fleet as early as the sixth minute when Ricky Shakes, playing out of position, missed a long punt forward from keeper Gareth Williams and Ryan Hall's cross was finished off by Jacob Erskine, on loan from Gillingham.

It was 2-0 on 19 minutes after Warren McBean - who was impressive all afternoon - was left all alone to head in Hall's corner.

Michael West had a golden chance to halve the deficit two minutes into the second half but he took too long and Williams was able to save.

And it summed up Ebbsfleet's day when Bromley went straight up the other end and put the result beyond doubt.

Williams's long ball forward found the classy McBean, who skipped past his man and fired past Lance Cronin.
