A stunning Liam Enver-Marum strike three minutes from time rescued a deserved point for Ebbsfleet at Barrow in Blue Square Bet Premier on Saturday.

A total of 20 Ebbsfleet fans made the long trip to Barrow but the journey home was certainly an enjoyable one thanks to Enver-Marum.

The 24-year-old, who missed six weeks of the season through injury, scored his fourth goal of the campaign with a 25-yard screamer.

Barrow had led as early as the sixth minute when Andy Cook produced a cool finish past keeper Preston Edwards for his ninth goal of the season.

The Fleet, without Craig Stone who was ruled out with a stomach bug hours before kick-off, also lost Tom Phipp (pictured) to a broken nose before half-time.

The visitors nearly equalised through Michael West and Joe Howe also went close but their second-half pressure finally paid off when Enver-Marum struck.

The Fleet, who sit eight points above the relegation zone, are at home to fifth-placed Cambridge United on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.45pm at Stonebridge Road.
