Woman's robbery ordeal while walking to work

A WOMAN was robbed on her way to work in a Kent town early this morning.

The victim, who is in her 40s, was walking through Radnor Park, Folkestone, between 5am and 5.25am when the robbery took place.

A man approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground before searching her shoulder bag and stealing cash from her purse.

The offender is described as white and of slim build. He was wearing a dark top, dark trousers, possibly a tracksuit and white trainers. He smelt dirty.
