Folkestone: Two arrested following car thefts in Bouverie Road West, Pelham Gardens and Trinity Gardens

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing items from cars.

It happened last night in Folkestone after the police said they were seen acting suspiciously in Bouverie Road West, Pelham Gardens and Trinity Gardens.

They were allegedly found in possession of stolen property, according to Kent Police Shepway's tweet.

The tweets were posted at about 4am today.

It said: "If you are a victim of crime, please call 101 to report.

"Quote incident 03-1634."
