Trucker arrested over bomb 'joke'

A LORRY driver was arrested at the Channel Tunnel terminal after joking that he had a bomb in his vehicle a few hours after the terror bomb blasts in London.

Kent Police said the the Dutch trucker made the comment to members of staff at the terminal's booths in Folkestone on Thursday evening.

Security officials at the Channel Tunnel, in the wake of the attacks in the capital on Thursday morning, searched his lorry but they found nothing.

The man was questioned by officers and later released.
