Three cars deliberately set on fire

POLICE believe the same person was responsible for setting alight three cars in the Folkestone area within a period of four hours.

The first vehicle went up in flames in Cornwallis Avenue at around 2am on Friday, the second in Watkin Road at about 2.40am and the third in Lynwood at 6am.

PC Richard Job, who is investigating the incidents, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the early hours of Friday.

"Or perhaps you know someone who was out for all, or part of the night, and returned home smelling of smoke”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Job on 01303 850055.
