Folkestone: Drug arrest near Radnor Park

A suspected drug dealer has been arrested after being found with 12 wraps of heroin.

Police apprehended the 42-year-old woman near Radnor Park earlier today.

Cash, a mobile phone believed to be used for drug dealing and 12 wraps of heroin were all seized by officers.

The woman, who is from Folkestone, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and is still in police custody.

Sergeant Greg Pochin said: "The supply of drugs has a devastating impact on individuals and communities.

"The Shepway Community Policing Team proactively targets and disrupts those believed to be involved in dealing drugs in the district."
