Mystery bang in Lyminge, near Folkestone, 'shook walls'

A mystery bang in a village "trembled doors and walls", it's claimed.

Dan Ludlow was in Lyminge, on the outskirts of Folkestone, at around 10.25am when the "explosion" is said to have been heard.

There is no explanation as to what caused it, yet, but it is reported that "four bangs" were heard as far as Brabourne, near Ashford.

Mr Ludlow described it as a "thump like explosion" or a "building being dropped".

He said: "I can't see anything but it shook the walls."

Despite it being heard in the village, Mr Ludlow said it could be "some way off."
