Folkestone man appears in court accused of assaulting three women in Church Street area

A man accused of assaulting three women in the same Kent town has appeared in court.

The victims reported they had been attacked in the same street in Folkestone earlier this week.

Officers attended Church Street after reports of assaults in the area at 1pm on Wednesday.

Steven Reble was arrested later that day and has now been charged with three assault charges in connection with the alleged incidents.

The 44-year-old of Longford Terrace, Folkestone was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, sexual assault and assault by beating.

He will also face a charge of causing harassment, alarm or distress in connection with a separate incident.

Reble appeared before magistrates on Friday and has been remanded in custody to appear before a judge at Canterbury Crown Court on July 26.
