Devious boys grab car driver's handbag

POLICE in Folkestone are warning elderly motorists to beware after two teenage boys stole a woman's handbag.

The 86-year-old victim was just about to drive away in her car in Radnor Park Avenue, near Folkestone Sport Centre, at 11.45am on Thursday when the boys, who were passing by, told her there was something wrong with her front wheel.

As she got out of the vehicle to investigate, the teenagers reached into her car and stole the bag before running off.

They are described as white and aged about 15 or 16. One was stocky and the other was fat and both had dark hair.
