Biker killed in collision with car

A mototcyclist was killed in an accident on the Alkham Valley Road, near Folkestone, at the weekend.

The road, between Folkestone and Dover, has become notorious for the number of accidents and the latest happened at about 10.30am on Sunday.

Police were called to the scene of a collision between a car and a motorbike at the Church Lane and Standen Hill crossroads.

The biker, who was from the Thanet area, died from his injuries.
