The sudden death of a 27-year-old musician and graduate has devastated family and friends.

Adrian Milton collapsed and died at his home in Whiting Crescent, Faversham.

He had graduated this year from Canterbury Christ Church University with a 2.1 in general science and had been due to play bass guitar with his band Self Titled at Faversham hop festival this weekend.

His partner Jenny Heath, 28, who was with him when he died, said: “We are devastated.

“He suddenly collapsed at home and fell down. I called an ambulance and they tried to resuscitate him for 45 minutes but they couldn’t.

“He was very well liked and caring. He really cared about his animals. He was fit and well so it’s a shock.”

Mr Milton was born in Chatham but moved to the general store on Front Brents at the age of four with his parents Clive and Janet.

He attended the Abbey School then Canterbury College before working at the pet store Pets at Home in Canterbury where he met Miss Heath.

But he left the job to go to Canterbury Christ Church University.

Miss Heath said: “I don’t know what he was planning to do but it would have been something to do with the environment which is what he loved.”

Mr Milton’s death certificate gives the cause of death as ischaemic heart disease and coronary artery atherosclerosis but his father said: “We are waiting for a report to go to the doctors and to get it explained.

“It doesn’t mean anything to us.”

Mr Milton leaves a brother Darren and sister Felicity. His funeral is on Wednesday at Barham crematorium.
