Motorcyclist dies in head-on crash

A 23-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist died on Sunday after a head-on crash with a Jaguar at Sheldwich on the A251 Faversham to Ashford road.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which occurred at 4.40pm near the New House Lane junction.

The red Honda motorcycle collided with a burgundy coloured Jaguar.

The motorbike rider was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed for seven hours.

Police said he was a local man but have not yet revealed his name.
