Man dies as motorcycle hits central reservation

A motorcyclist was killed after ploughing into the central reservation on a Kent motorway.

The biker died at a London hospital after being fatally injured in the crash, which happened on the coast-bound carriageway of the M2 between Faversham and Sittingbourne at around 3.30pm Saturday.

The victim was riding a black Suzuki Bandit motorcycle and came from Brentwood in Essex.

The road was closed for more than three hours while crash investigators examined the scene.
